There is a time and a place for everything.

A man went to eat and turned the table into a pulpit. A man who loves his faith feels heat in his chest and starts to think every room is a field to be taken, every ear a soul to be seized. But a restaurant is where a tired man brings his hunger and his worries and sits down hoping for a little peace. Maybe he talks about his plans for the weekend, his boss who gives him a headache, his lovely wife and his kids, and how they are doing in baseball.

A man can walk closely with God and not be a man of religion. When he speaks of God, he does not wear a team jersey. He does not get more info come as “Christian” or “Muslim,” but as a soul who has been held, broken, forgiven, and carried. He talks about his Father, not his side. Sometimes the holiest thing he does is keep his mouth shut and listen.

A man who wants to serve God and keep his honor can do simple things. He can speak of his own faith with clarity, and of others’ with care. He can tell the truth as if the other man’s heart were as breakable as his own.

Sometimes real witness looks less like a street fight and more like two men at a small table, two different holy books between them, a pot of coffee cooling as they listen more than they speak. No cameras, website no crowd. Just the hard work of understanding, which is slower than shouting but closer to peace.

The world is full of men crying that they have the light. The work is to carry it so it warms more than it burns, and so that, when you set it more info down, there is a little more truth in the room and not just more smoke.
